Carhartt WIP Double Knee Pant | Hamilton Brown

The Double Knee Pant draws inspiration from classic work pant silhouettes, and is constructed in our robust 12oz Dearborn Canvas, which will slowly soften with wear over time. This garment has a regular waist and is cut in a relaxed straight fit, featuring double-layer knees for extra reinforcement. Bartack stitching at vital stress points make the pant more robust. Rivet details, tool pockets, and a hammer loop are further nods to the style's utilitarian influences.

Carhartt WIP

Carhartt was founded in 1889 in Detroit, initially offering sturdy workwear designed for railway workers and other high-wear professions. The development of Carhartt WIP (Work in Progress) began in 1990. It provides streetwear adapted for Europe and Asia, yet with a clear lineage back to the classic workwear products.

For us, Carhartt WIP is an obvious choice; in the Inland, we rarely differentiate between the “going-out blazer” and the clothes you chop wood in. When you chop wood, you do it with style.
