Mr Zog's SEXWAX is probably the most classic product in surfing. We like originals and that's why we have chosen to have a complete range from them.

Choose the right wax for the water temperature you expect to surf in. But always start with a harder wax at the bottom against the board and put the softer "right temp" wax on top.

The reason why you choose wax by temperature is that otherwise the wax will be too hard or too soft. Wax that is too hard will provide too little friction and the board will be slippery. Wax that is too soft will make it too sticky or even disappear when you touch the wax.

Example
You might only surf in Kallsjön or other colder waters in Jämtland and preferably in winter.

1. Then start with a hard wax Hard x 5 or Extra Hard x 6 directly onto the board in a covering layer.
2. Is the water as usual cold (0-14°), so you choose, for example, Extreme Soft 1 on top of your layer of hard wax.

If you were to head south towards, for example, Lake Siljan and surf in slightly warmer water, then you would find out what the temperature is expected to be and choose a wax accordingly.

You can also mix your wax according to the desired function and always have a few different models with you if you feel that the board is getting too slippery or sticky.
