Capita Snowboards started in a garage in Seattle in 2000. Founders Jason Brown and Blue Montgomery wanted to create unique snowboards, and they quickly managed to win over other top brands, and are now one of the world's leading brands.

In 2016, they opened the high-tech factory "The Capita Mothership" in Austria, which has won awards for its environmental work. The factory is powered by its own renewable energy and is strategically located to minimize transportation distances, which benefits local businesses.
Since its inception, Capita has received several awards for design and sustainability, cementing their place as an innovator in the snowboarding world.

Their team with Kevin Bäckström, Arthur Longo, Jess Kimura, Mia Brookes, Scott Stevens and Kazu Kokubo and others, inspires some of the best skiing in the world right now.
