About the artist

Jonas Wilhelmson

Born in 1979 in Tänndalen, Jonas Wilhelmson has dedicated most of his life to snowboarding and art.

During the winters you can find him as a coach at Snowboard Klubben x2 and Progsession around Sweden, and he is also the creator of the beloved event Spot Battle . In his free time, Jonas is out on splitboard trips or in the park, where he is one of the few 40+ snowboarders who is still learning new tricks on good days.

When he's not snowboarding, Jonas spends time in his studio in Tänndalen. Here he finds inspiration from both his skiing and the mountain landscape with its changing light and colors.

By combining his passion for snowboarding with his artistic work, Jonas has created works that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also carry a deep connection to nature and the lifestyle he and we love.
