The Jones Higher 32L is our favorite bag for day to slightly longer trips on the mountain.
It's a backpack designed for longer trips and more technical missions where you need to bring your full kit. The design helps distribute weight evenly across your upper body and provides a stable feel when moving uphill, traversing or descending.
The back panel is thermo-molded for better comfort and ventilation, and you get a hip belt with dual pockets for quick access to small items. The Higher 32L is also smartly organized with separate compartments for avalanche equipment, a fleece-lined goggle pocket, and a dedicated hydration system compartment.
On the outside, you have flexible carrying options with vertical straps for snowboards and side straps for skis. The material choices and YKK zippers are made to withstand tough use in cold and wet climates.
