Jones Mountain Surfer
The Jones Mountain Surfer is pure joy in powder, designed by surf shaper Chris Christenson, built to surf frozen snow with the same feel as a wave.
This board is our own favorite in Åre when those magical days come and there is fresh snow on the slopes in the village, on the mountain or just on the hill behind the house.
With its advanced 3D Contour Base, wide nose and cut-out tail, you get a board that floats up instantly, turns with minimal movement and provides an incredibly smooth surf feel. The foam topsheet pad provides a stable foothold when riding without bindings, and the sintered base means it keeps its speed even when the snow starts to pack.
It's a board for those who want to discover a whole new type of riding, free, playful and creative. Take it to the mountains, out into the forest or ride it on your "home slope" when the snow is deep.
We'll bring it out ourselves here in Åre as soon as it starts to rain.
