Korua Cafe Racer
Carving board for Softboots
The Café Racer is a classic carving board designed for soft boots, ideal for tight turns when you're on the slopes at your local ski area. It's a great board for learning to carve, but it can also handle the skills and turns of the experienced rider. Although its main focus is carving, the Café Racer can easily be taken off-piste for deep powder turns. If getting super low in turns is your priority, this is the board for you!
The Café Racer's tail shape offers solid torsional rigidity and stability behind you, perfect for carving on groomed slopes. The full camber profile combined with its turning radius provides excellent grip from nose to tail, making this board feel like a train on rails on the slopes.
The Café Racer has a FULL CAMBER profile, which provides extra stability and maximum grip, as the entire edge length is in the snow. At the same time, it provides good floatation and speed in soft snow thanks to a smooth transition into the nose area.
We recommend that you ride this board with very positive binding angles and a slightly narrower stance to allow the board to flex more naturally under your feet.

Korua
KORUA Shapes is an exciting brand for us. Their films express so much of what snowboarding has become for us, and this is where we hope the sport will continue to develop and succeed. Watching them chase a friend through the forest in a wintry landscape, out onto the transport track, and veer off into the next steep slope is something that creates such a longing in the body to get out there.
