Lib Rig

The Lib Rig was developed in collaboration with Austen Sweetin – a skier who has pushed every board in the Lib Tech range in every conceivable condition, from the deepest powder to hard-packed piste. After years of testing and fine-tuning with Lib Tech’s experiMENTAL team, they have created a board that combines everything he loves most: power, float and precision.

The result is a directional shape with a full-size, floating nose and a tail that works equally well as a switch. The deep sidecut lines and slightly wider waist give you grip in your turns without your toes catching, while the gentle taper makes it feel nimble in turns despite holding its line in powder.

The profile is C3 Camber – stable, powerful and precise, but with enough life to feel smooth all over the mountain. The aspen and paulownia core is reinforced with basalt and fiberglass, which adds strength and energy without adding weight. The sintered base holds up to high speeds and can withstand hard riding day after day.

The graphics are created by Austen Sweetin himself, simple, clear and with the same confident expression as his riding.

Lib Rig is for those who want a board that can do it all: carving on freshly groomed slopes, long powder runs and natural features in the terrain. A board with the same drive and feel as the one Austen herself chooses when the mountain offers variety.
