Nidecker Women's Altai | Black
Snowboard boots - Nidecker Altai W Black
Altai is a medium-stiff snowboard boot with a lot of response from toe to heel and a lot of lateral support, perfect for piste and powder. It has a Double Boa lacing system, a Boa dial to adjust the upper zone and a dial for the lower part of the boot. This is to get as evenly distributed pressure over the shoe as possible. Altai's shell is heavily reinforced so that it lasts a long time and it is packed with technology but sold at a really sharp price.
Read our snowboard boot buying guide before choosing a size to find the right fit. But a basic rule of thumb is to measure your foot and add 1cm.

Technical information:
Double BOA H4 Coiler quick lacing
Fast and durable version of BOA lacing.
Gravity+ Outsole
This outsole comes with an EVA bed for natural cushioning. The pattern is inspired by the pattern you see on piste machines to give the sole really good grip.
Silver liner
A liner without pressure points that is easy to put on and take off. To prevent rotation of the tongue, there is a Velcro strap on both sides to keep everything in place. There is an adjustable flex zone around the toes for freedom of movement. The liner can also be shaped if necessary if you feel pressure points.
3D Molded Dual Density sole
An extra layer of EVA provides support for the deep heel and arch, while a silicone print on the top provides grip for the fleece-lined footbed.
Asymmetric 3F
The boots feature an asymmetrical shape and closure system to provide plenty of support and flex. The Boa lacing is asymmetrically positioned to create less pressure points and increase medial arch support to reduce foot fatigue and cramping.
Articulating Flex Zone
The upper part of the boot is asymmetrically connected to the lower part of the boot, allowing the ankle to bend naturally while providing support without deforming the shell. A thermal insulation barrier between the outsole and the bottom of the inner boot keeps heat in and cold out.
1:1 Loading
The new last is the key to the entire boot and features an 8° forward lean, the perfect balance between comfort and performance. 1:1 last means a specific liner, shell and footbed for each full and half size. Women's, men's and youth boots have separate last for complete anatomical accuracy.
3D Molded Toebox
Reinforced toe box without extra layers and seams around the forefoot for increased durability and a streamlined, slim design. It also makes it easier to slip in and out of your bindings.
3D Molded Tongue
An anatomically correct and asymmetrical tongue that performs better than a regular straight one.
Rubber Backstay
Protects the back of the outsole and boots from wear. The lower part, called the "Transition Zone", fits into the outsole to make it easier to get in and out of the bindings without getting caught.
