The Frontier Split features a directional all-mountain shape with a slight taper for better float in deeper snow and confident stability when the ground hardens. Camber underfoot provides confident edge grip and power through turns, while rocker in the nose keeps the board buoyant when the going gets soft. The flex is forgiving and easy to ride, but still stable enough for speed and mixed conditions.

The bottom has a Medium 3D Contour Base with a slightly raised shape in the nose and tail. This reduces the risk of edge catching, helps the board enter and exit turns and provides a smoother flow in the snow. Traction Tech along the edges adds extra contact points for better grip on harder surfaces.

The construction is based on a paulownia/poplar core with Biax fiberglass for a lightweight and lively feel, along with Reclaimed Aerospace Carbon Stringers that dampen vibrations and provide pop when you need it. The Sintered 8000 base provides great glide and durability, while recycled steel on the edges and recycled ABS sidewall material reduce environmental impact without compromising durability.

The board is laminated with Bio Resin Epoxy , made from plant-based materials instead of petroleum-based plastic – a more sustainable choice with the same high strength and longevity as traditional epoxy.

As a split, the Frontier 2.0 is equipped for touring: Karakoram Ultra Clips 1.0 and Tip-clips keep the board sections tightly together, and the Quick Tension recess in the tail makes it easy to hook into the tail clip of the skins. Details that make the ascent smooth and the descent stable.
