Jones Solution Splitboard
The Solution Splitboard is for those who want a stable, lightweight and versatile splitboard that delivers on long rides, steep rides and deep days – a board you can trust, no matter the conditions.
It has a directional all-mountain shape with a slight taper that helps with float in deeper snow and stability in steeper sections. Camber underfoot provides power and secure edge grip, while rocker in the nose makes turns smooth and the board compliant when the snow gets deep.
The base is 3D Contour Base 3.0 , with a raised shape in the nose and tail that reduces edge catch and gives a more natural, surfy feel. Traction Tech 3.0 along both the inner and outer edges provides extra contact points for maximum grip on harder surfaces.
The construction is based on a light and responsive wood core reinforced with Flax/Basalt Power Stringers that dampen vibrations without making the board stiff. Triax fiberglass provides stability and even flex, and the fast Sintered 9900 base delivers glide and durability over many rides. Sustainable details like recycled steel edges , recycled ABS sidewalls and Bio Resin Epoxy reduce environmental impact without compromising performance.
As a split, Solution is equipped with Karakoram Ultra Clips 2.0 and Tip-Lock system that keeps the board sections tightly together and makes it feel solid even at high speed. The Quick Tension notch in the tail makes it easy to hook into the tail clip of the skins, even with gloves on.
