United Shapes Covert Splitboard
For those who want to explore the entire mountain, from open spaces to tight tree lines, with a board that delivers control, flow and feel in every turn.
The Covert Splitboard is built for riders who want a versatile and reliable board for both uphill and downhill. It features a directional shape with a slight taper in the nose and tail, camber underfoot for stability and grip, and an early rise in the nose that gives natural float in deep snow and a soft, responsive feel in turns. The combination makes it confident in steep terrain and lively in more open sections.
The core is made of lightweight poplar and paulownia with ash stringers that add strength and energy to the ride. Two layers of carbon fiber along the entire board give it responsiveness and torsional rigidity without adding weight. The sintered base is fast and durable, and the entire construction is laminated with bio-based epoxy for reduced environmental impact.
The Covert Splitboard is suitable for riders who want a light, flexible and stable board that feels safe during long rides but at the same time invites play and creativity when the snow is right.
