The United Shapes Covert is the splitboard for those who want to explore everything from distant peaks to the tree lines on their home slopes. This all-mountain split is designed for maximum versatility and performance: its tapered, directional shape combined with camber provides great stability when touring, while an early rise in the nose gives you perfect float in powder. The classic freestyle tail increases the board's playfulness and allows you to ride fakie and navigate challenging terrain smoothly. Free Core

Lightweight Poplar and Paulownia are combined with ash stringers to provide an ideal balance of pop, weight savings and durability. Two full-length layers of multi-directional woven carbon fiber add torsional rigidity and durability, essential for demanding top-end tours.


Karakoram UltraClips 2.0

Covert is equipped with Karakoram UltraClips 2.0. Karakoram's Active Joining Technology provides the safest and most precise connection between the board halves.


Sintered 2100 Base

A high-density, sintered black coating that provides fast glide and is easy to repair if an accident occurs.


Bio-Based Resin

For a more environmentally conscious design, a bio-based resin is used where 65% of the hardener's carbon content comes from plant material. This provides the same strength and durability as a fully petroleum-based resin but with a lower environmental impact.


Shape

The Covert has a directional shape with traditional camber and early nose lift. The result is reliable edge grip, easy turn initiation and surprisingly good float in soft snow - perfect for those who want to be able to trust their splitboard in all conditions.
